The main expectation from the mentioned tool is the management and distribution of water among the beneficiaries based on the amount of water available according to the laws of the reservoir, allocation, basin in a transparent, logical manner and within the framework of integrated management of water resources of the basin. Currently, the management tool produced has the ability to predict and recognize the consequences and effects of decision-making in order to determine the appropriate and optimal decision. It recognizes the effects of water distribution strategies on other sectors (agriculture, industry, environment, rights, ownership). It is possible to predict the effect of decisions in drought, normal and drought conditions. The water resources management tool in Zayandeh Rood basin has been developed by using four main models Mike Basin (water allocation model), SWAT (hydrological simulator model) andFEFLOW (groundwater simulator model) and WISKI model (data and information system).
